About the Festival
The Community Cup First Responders Cultural Festival is a vibrant, all-day event designed to foster unity and trust between Chesterfield’s multicultural communities and the first responders who serve them. Held at River City SportsPlex, this free, family-friendly festival is a celebration of culture, public safety, and community connection.

Partner Resource Booths from Chesterfield’s CER, Fire & EMS, Police, and Parks & Rec
About Community Cup
Jointly hosted by Chesterfield’s Community Engagement & Resources, Public Safety, Parks & Recreation, and partnering with Henrico County, City of Richmond, and Virginia State Police, this event is part celebration, part cultural exchange, and a whole day dedicated to building stronger relationships.

Help bring the Community Cup to life by joining our volunteer team! You’ll be part of a fun, welcoming crew helping make this festival a success.
As a volunteer, you might:

Assist teams and attendees during the soccer tournament

Greet guests and help with parking or directions

Support kids’ activities and event booths

Lend a hand with setup or breakdown

Once you sign up, we’ll keep you updated with event details and volunteer opportunities. If a particular role interests you, just let us know and we’ll do our best to match you with it. Otherwise, we’ll place you where help is most needed — and where we think you’ll have a great time.
